About Profex®

Quality Medical Products
Since 1938

Our History

In 1938, Profex Medical Products was founded in St. Louis Missouri by Robert Gates Watel. Since then, Profex has been a leader in the medical supply industry. Profex products are used by virtually every hospital, nursing home, and physician’s office in America.

Profex invented the first modern operating room pad, patient chart holder, H brace table, and many other quality medical products.

Today, Profex offers over 1,000 different products in 12 distinct product lines, all of which are backed by decades of experience and the Profex guarantee of customer satisfaction.

FDA Approved

Not just an acronym

At Profex Medical, FDA approval is more than a regulatory checkbox—it reflects our unwavering commitment to quality and safety. With only 75% of medical sales providers being FDA registered, our approval ensures our products meet the highest safety and effectiveness standards, providing peace of mind and confidence to our clients.
